The artwork is amazing. In the game you can use cheats to reshuffle the tiles. You earn the cheats by buying them or earning gems by watching ads. However, sometimes the ad will not play, or just go all white or all black screen, until you restart the game,which is annoying when you need that cheat for the game you’re playing. Also, when they say that something can be found in the game, they mean maybe it’s there but no guarantee, but you will probably have to play that one a few times before you find it.

This is a challenging game. Its interesting to follow the story. They do try to get you to purchase things but so far you dont need to to win. There are alot of adds you have to watch. I was hoping to post a glowing review finally. I’ve played this game for many years now. It’s been the only one that lasted. This last month or two, I’ve noticed some nice improvements. My negative remark is good luck getting follow through with technical issues. Expect much time to pass and numerous requests to fulfill. Too bad…

Hidden object type games are my favorite games to play. I play another G5 game Crime Mysteries. Both that one and this one have phenomenal graphics especially the overhead shot of the cityscape. The scenes are perfect. It’s different almost every time you play with the same object looking different and in a different location in the scene. Objects can be under other objects. In other games I’ve played after a while the scene just comes down to memorizing where objects are and not much of a challenge except trying to get better scores. The only reason I didn’t give this game 5 stars is because there is a Match-3 aspect in the game play. G5 has enough Match-3 type games in their catalog that they didn’t need to put it in this game. Normally that would have knocked the rating down to 3 stars but in the time I’ve played this game I haven’t had my game play interrupted by an ad for a G5 game. I probably jinxed myself for putting that in this review. One other thing that is annoying is the mini-game for gems is the same water slide where you avoid a spider first then the sludge and a shark. That mini game is also in Crime Mysteries. Would be nice if we got to try and escape a room that I’ve seen in ads for this very game.

Unlike other similar investigation games, this one doesn’t get bogged down in lots of long convo’s between searches. If you don’t enjoy search screens you can choose a game. I personally prefer the searches, but as a former graphic artist I’m all over that. ;P Speaking of graphics, they are super sharp and vibrant -something I definitely appreciate having created models and skins in past. Haven’t had to do any buy-in to keep playing, but it is still early. Just started playing this.

So far, Im loving it. The graphics are spot on and colorful. I love that the characters present themselves and tells you a little bit about what has happened to their homes or place of business which allows you to take in more and more details of the storyline. And the gameplay of mahjong makes it relaxing and yet, at the same time, it can be difficult. However, adding boosts and other things to help you out on the more challenging levels is quite a bonus but, its a pretty good game.

It is fun to play. I like that it gives you different ways to explore. You don’t have to collect stars to rebuild. To me when you have to collect stars to move forward and you only earn 1 star each time but the task takes 4 stars to compete. It makes the game drag out. I’m saving the last star for later. I hope the game stays just as it is. I am enjoying it immensely! WHY? Because so far, there are no timers, no ‘lighting’ pieces to push you to hurry, the music is comfortable, the game theme is different and interesting, it hasn’t cost me a dime (yet) ; no one has asked either! The Tiles are regular objects and easy to see….There are no ads….I select a goal, the screen does its thing and I sit back and choose my tiles to play. LISTEN: they carry the rules of Mahjong very strictly. There are helps and prompts available, but I’m afraid THAT will cost. You can complete every game without them! No rush, by watching the shadows on the tiles, ie, is this tile open? ***The only PROBLEM is that I cannot sign in. The G5 computer has decided they already have someone using my email (me, from past games…), and so I cannot get extra points by inviting friends….(and I WOULD invite my friends…this is a good game)…
