Now, how do you go about searching for clues? And what could be a clue if you’re looking at a trashed living room in a fancy mansion or a huge pool area on a luxurious cruise ship? Well, you’ll get some guides and hints as to what hidden objects you’re looking for. They can be anything from a murder weapon containing fingerprints of the criminal to some objects that may at first seem mundane and usual but will turn out to be significant in pinpointing the villains.
As you make your way across town fighting the good fight, you’ll get to meet different characters and search different locations for clues. The places you’ll visit are very varied, from your usual coffee shops and parks to elite villas and yacht clubs and even some iconic landmarks like Hollywood Boulevard and Chinatown. Finding these objects requires a sharp eye and a strategic mind. Alternatively, if you’re not feeling on top of your item-spotting game, you can search for clues by completing match three puzzles and progressing through the story that way. If that is more simple for you. However, that option is not available from the get-go – you’ll need to reach level 8 to unlock it. Furthermore, not all levels can be tackled by both game modes: some are match-three only, while others can only be played as a hidden object mode.
